Board of Directors:

John Roland, Chairman & CEO

John was most recently the President of FastChannel Network, Inc. A venture-backed, software company, John drove a highly innovative culture to grow the company from a startup to $25 million with 200 employees. As the innovation and technology leader, FastChannel merged with DG Systems (NASDAQ: DGIT) in 2006 to solidify its position as the leading provider of advertising distribution services.

Prior to FastChannel, John was the President of Genesis Business Systems, Inc. Genesis, a software company, was sold to Achieve Healthcare Systems in 1996 to form the leading provider of long-term care automation systems.

Tim Conley, Chief Operating Officer, Board Member

Tim has a proven track record of driving companies’ revenue growth and strategic business development. Most recently Tim served as Senior Vice President of Third Screen Media, a mobile advertising services company that was acquired by AOL in May 2007.

Before joining TSM, Tim served several years with FastChannel Network, in various roles including VP of Sales and Service and Executive Vice President. Tim has also held leadership positions at IBM Learning Services, Safeco Insurance Company, Newscope Technology, Cybex International, and Tunturi.

Michael Barach, Board Member

Michael joins Village Ventures from Bessemer Venture Partners, where he was a partner from 1990-1998. Michael also served as president and chief executive officer of MotherNature.com from 1998 through 2000, and was instrumental in raising $113 million in funding for the company in three rounds of financing and an initial public offering. Michael holds a B.A. from Amherst College, where he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He received his juris doctorate from Harvard Law School and a MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar. Michael is based in Massachusetts and is responsible for the firm’s investments in New England and Florida. Michael focuses on consumer-facing Internet and e-commerce companies, with emphasis in analytically driven online marketing plays.

Tripp Peake, Board Member

Immediately prior to Long River, Tripp was a partner at Kestrel Venture Management, where he focused on the management of Mass Ventures Equity Fund, a $14 million early stage fund established in western Massachusetts in 1997. Tripp serves or has served on numerous boards as board member or observer, including Clarity Imaging, Optasite, Profile Systems, Protedyne, Reconda International, Sovereign Hill Software, and WRNX Radio. Before joining Kestrel, Tripp was co-founder and CEO of two venture development consulting companies: Mass Ventures, based in Amherst, MA and associated with the University of Massachusetts; and Science Park Associates, based in New Haven, CT and associated with Yale University. Both of these companies provided university spin-offs and regional entrepreneurs with strategic and financing advice and helped raise over $50 million in private equity for 18 different early stage ventures. Tripp holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A from Yale University.

Tom MacIssac, Board Member

Tom is currently the President of Cove Street Partners, Inc., a boutique advisory firm specializing in digital media and online advertising. Previously, Tom led strategy and corporate development for AOL.s (NYSE: TWX) ad network businesses, where he was responsible for strategic planning, M&A and strategic business development and played a major role in the transformation of AOL into a leading, diversified advertising business through his leadership in over $1 billion in AOL ad network acquisitions. Prior to AOL, Tom served as President and CEO of Lightningcast, Inc., a leading video ad management platform and ad network, acquired by AOL in 2006, working with customers that included AOL, Comcast, Disney/ABC, Microsoft, Scripps, A&E, MTV, MLB, NBA, Reuters, Hulu, Warner Bros. and many others. In 2000, Tom founded Internet and mobile electronic messaging company Backwire, Inc. which was acquired by Leap Wireless (Nasdaq: LEAP) in 2001. Prior to founding Backwire, Tom was a partner at venture firm Venturehouse Group and before that President of AOL Select, an AOL JV that acquired AOL subscribers through alternative channels, including direct selling and multilevel marketing. Prior to entering the digital media and marketing world, Tom practiced corporate and securities law with the global law firm Dechert.

Paul Schaut, Advisory Board

Paul Schaut serves as Modiv Media’s Chairman of the Board and CEO, utilizing his over 25 years of deep sales, marketing and executive management experience in the digital, mobile technology and marketing industries to propel the company through its next stage of growth. Paul is also an independent advisor to and director of several venture backed technology companies and has served as CEO for companies including Tira Wireless, a mobile porting technology enabler; Performaworks, an enterprise goal and performance management solution provider; and Engage, a broad based digital marketing thought leader. He led Engage through 10 acquisitions, worldwide expansion and a successful initial public offering. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from San Jose State University.

Kathy Crawford, Advisory Board

Kathy is a 30-year veteran of the local broadcast business. Recently retired, in June of 2003 she was named President of Local Broadcast for MindShare in New York where she worked on Ford Dealers, Burger King, Six Flags, American Express just to name a few. Kathy was named a Media Maven in December of 2003. Kathy is passionate about the use of technology to streamline local broadcast. Prior to MindShare, Kathy was EVP, Director of Local Broadcast for Western International (now Initiative Media) where in 2001 she earned the Media All-Star award for Spot Television. She worked on such accounts as Albertson.s, Six Flags, Disney Movies and Theme Parks, Carl’s Jr. and Nextel.
