Extreme Reach Appoints Former AOL Executive
Tom MacIsaac to Board of Directors

Industry entrepreneur brings years of experience building online
advertising and digital media businesses

NEEDHAM. Mass., Jan. 27, 2009 –-Extreme Reach, Inc., a pioneer in connecting and simplifying the world of video advertising, today announced the appointment of industry veteran and serial entrepreneur, Tom MacIsaac, to its board of directors. MacIsaac has a long history of working with leading technology companies and was formerly CEO of Lightningcast, and an executive at AOL.

MacIsaac is currently president of Cove Street Partners, Inc., a boutique advisory firm that specializes in digital media and online advertising. Previously, he led strategy and corporate development for Platform A, AOL’s (NYSE: TWX) advertising division. At AOL, he was responsible for strategic planning, M&A and strategic business development. MacIsaac played a major role in the transformation of AOL into a leading, diversified advertising business through his leadership in more than $1 billion in AOL ad network acquisitions. Prior to AOL, he served as president and CEO of Lightningcast, Inc., a video ad management platform and network that was acquired by AOL in 2006. In 2000, MacIsaac founded Internet and mobile electronic messaging company Backwire, Inc. which was acquired by Leap Wireless (Nasdaq: LEAP) in 2001.
